Gifts in Wills
NARS receives no funding from the NHS or government and relies entirely on the generosity of the public to keep this vital service going. We understand that giving to charity is not always easy, but there is another way to help – by kindly remembering to include a legacy to NARS when you make your Will or Codicil. Legacies occasionally provide us with ‘game-changing’ income and allow us to implement significant development projects. Every Gift helps enormously – and is much appreciated. A Gift in your Will could be a lifeline to make sure that NARS will be there when people need us.
Surprisingly, over 53% of adults in the UK have not made a Will. The single most common reason given for not making a Will is ‘not getting round to it.’ Of those who have not made a Will, over half the people have not considered making a charitable legacy. But under some circumstances, by making a gift to charity, the amount of Inheritance Tax can be reduced, resulting in more money to be left to loved ones.
FREE WILL OFFER
NARS has teamed up with Simper Law Ltd to offer our supporters a free Will-writing service. Simper Law Ltd will provide a simple or mirror Will at no cost to yourselves. All we ask is that you consider leaving a bequest to the NARS Charity in your Will. Even if you have an existing Will, Simper Law will either re-write and update your Will for you, or produce a codicil (addition) to an existing Will.
If you would like to take advantage of this offer or would just like to find out more, without obligation, please contact Kim Simper at Simper Law Ltd in Norwich mentioning the NARS legacy scheme.
