Ways You Can Support NARS
For nearly 50 years, NARS has been saving lives in Norfolk. But it’s remarkable that so few people know about us and our amazing work.
One of the most useful things you can do, is to mention NARS to your friends and social groups. Please help spread the word! It costs nothing and really helps us.

Give Us Some Time
We always need volunteers to help out with lots of different activities! We often need people to help out at events: helping to put up the gazebo, talking to members of the public and demonstrating equipment. We welcome people with ideas to attract the public to our display.
Maybe office work is more your thing? We often have administrative tasks you might be able to help with.
If you would like to help, or think you have something to offer, please get in touch via the Contact form.
Book Us For A Talk
We are very happy to provide a speaker to come out to your club, society or group meeting to talk about NARS.
Our talks normally last 45 minutes to an hour. We bring a projector and screen and show some short films too.
We do not charge a fee, but are always pleased to accept donations!
Please get in touch via the Contact form.
Business Sponsorship
We have many opportunities to get involved with local businesses. These include:
- Buying advertising space on our response vehicles;
- Sponsoring specific events (such as the 2015 Guinness World Record);
- Locating NARS stickers on your company vehicles;
- Getting involved with building our new Training Centre;
- Providing pro bono services;
- Booking your First Aid training requirements through us.
Clinical Volunteering
We have a limited number of opportunities for suitably qualified clinicians to assist with our work.
If you are interested in responding for NARS and have appropriate pre-hospital care experience, please get in touch via the Contact Form.
Promote Us
Social media can be very powerful and can indirectly help us to save lives.
The more people who know about NARS, the more support we get.
Helping is really easy – just follow us on Twitter, Like us on Facebook, then Retweet and Share our posts to your friends.
Collection Boxes
With many of us finding loose change an inconvenience, the traditional collecting box is a great way of getting rid of loose change, while at the same time donating to a great cause!
Collection boxes are perfect for reception areas, local shops, clubs/societies etc.
