I joined the Ambulance Service in 2014 on an internal paramedic pathway having previously been a retail manager and a Special Sergeant in the police for a number of years.
I registered in February 2017 with the HCPC as a paramedic and since then have looked to develop my career having spent a 12 month secondment as a HALO and currently undertaking a development opportunity as a Leading Operations Manager. This has allowed me to undertake a NARU operational commanders course.
When I’m not working I split my time between volunteering as Medical Lead for Norfolk Lowland Search and Rescue, volunteering for NARS both as a GoodSam responder from home and paramedic on Medic 22 or 23 and spending time with my wife, newborn son and excitable Labradoodle.
