I am research lead, which involves working with NARS on the academic side, helping the critical care paramedics with their master dissertations. Our aim is to get their dissertations published , either in posters to display at conferences or in Journals to get as many people reading about the great work NARS are undertaking. I also support NARS in a nurse role when I can and am the lead specialist for the NARS ALS Courses.
In my day role, I am a lecturer in Paramedic Science at the UEA in Norwich, and also a Resuscitation Officer at the North West Anglia Foundation Trust.
I have a half collie half retriever called Millie, so I go for lots of walks with her.
I have seen the difference NARS makes to people’s lives, providing critical life saving skills in an emergency. It is a charity any of us could need at any moment.
